This colloquium was about what programs one can take part in in order to be able to teach English as a second language whether domestically or internationally.  It was interesting learning that through teaching English you could travel and take part in other cultures. This colloquium was a good in terms of showing paths that you could take in order to live in other countries through being able to have some sustainability through having a job as an English language instructor. Taking this colloquium made me want to study abroad. Because of this inspiration I gained through this colloquium, I studied at University of Leicester in Fall of 2017. This colloquium made me realize that international opportunities are there if you look for them in the right places.
